Client Portfolio Analyst -ESG

 

Job Description

Our client is a prestigious international bank located in the heart of the City of London. Known for its robust financial services and commitment to innovation, our client is seeking talented professionals to join their dynamic team.

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Credit Portfolio Analyst to join our client's Credit Risk Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for climate change risk management, credit portfolio monitoring, and producing detailed reports for various stakeholders.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- **Climate Change Risk Management:**

  - Develop climate risk assessment scorecards in line with regulatory and Head Office requirements.

  - Conduct climate change risk stress-testing and reporting.

  - Produce regular reports on climate change risk and conduct research in this area.

  - Proactively monitor and manage climate risks at both the customer and portfolio levels.

 

- **Credit Portfolio Monitoring:**

  - Produce credit portfolio reports for the Head Office, local regulators, and senior management committees (Credit Committee, Risk Committee, Audit Committee).

  - Conduct post-lending management tasks, including performance monitoring of the credit portfolio and periodic credit risk assessments.

  - Assist with IFRS9 provision calculations.

- **Departmental Support:**

  - Assist the Head/Deputy Head of Credit Risk with departmental projects and tasks.

  - Ensure timely delivery and accuracy of all internal and external reports.

**Qualifications:**

 

- Minimum of 3 years  experience in credit portfolio management.

- Strong mathematical modeling and data processing skills.

- Ability to work independently with excellent time management skills.

- Proficiency with Bloomberg, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Experience in climate change risk is a plus.
