Job Description

An overseas banking institution wish to recruit a credit analyst with a focus on financial institutions, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks.

Overview

To assess business proposals submitted to Credit Management Department from Financial Institution Department, and to write credit reports in respect of the business proposals.

To attend Credit Approval Committee to present a summary of their credit report to Committee and answer any questions from Committee members

To regularly monitor the risk situations of borrowers in an allocated portfolio, as well as industry risks where particular responsibility for an industry has been allocated

To assist in current risk projects as guided by the Team Leader

To help with preparing statistics reports relating to the Bank’s businesses, portfolios and sectors

Experience Required

Relevant professional qualification considered useful (e.g. MBA, ACIB, CFA, FRM)

Comprehensive knowledge of banking products and risks associated with them

Relevant experience and proven track record in credit across FI sector (Financial Institutions, Multilateral Institutions, Insurance Companies etc)
