Executive Communications Officer Mandarin
Job Description
Our client is a successful international bank based in the city. An opportunity has arisen for an Executive Communications Officer to play a pivotal role in shaping and conveying the organization's voice and vision, internally and externally. This individual is a key asset to the executive team, providing strategic communication support, crafting compelling speeches, and enhancing brand promotion. The role requires a dynamic, highly organized, and articulate professional who can navigate complex relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Speech Writing: Create engaging, informative, and persuasive speeches for the executive team, ensuring alignment with the organization's goals and values.
- Brand Promotion: Assist & Implement strategies to promote the organization's brand, values, and objectives across various platforms and to diverse audiences.
- Networking and Relationship Management: Establish and maintain relationships with senior-level stakeholders, industry leaders, and external partners. Act as a liaison between the executive team and these entities.
- Event Coordination: Assist in coordinating high-level corporate events,
- Strategic Communications Planning: Work closely with the executive team to develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies that support the organization's objectives.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Business-level proficiency in Mandarin and excellent command of English (both written and verbal) are essential.
- Demonstrated experience in speech writing, content creation, or a related field is required. A portfolio of previous work may be requested.
- Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field. A master's degree is desirable
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and networking skills, with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders at the executive level.
- Strong strategic planning and execution skills, with a proven ability to think critically and creatively
- Proven track record of success in a similar role, preferably in a corporate or executive setting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating leadership and initiative.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and manage high-pressure situations effectively.
This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with the Executive Office and CEO where you can learn and develop. This role will be based in the office 4-5 days per week. Salary Negotiable
