Our client is an international corporation based in central London. An opportunity has arisen for a Financial Analyst

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of annual 3-year plans, budgets and forecasts
• Assist in the production of the monthly management reporting pack
• Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analysing actual results with budget, forecasts, and prior year
• Develop and produce monthly financial performance dashboards for each broking desk
• Run the month end overhead allocation model
• Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Analyse financial data and create financial models for decision support
• Provide recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance
• Analyse past results, to identify trends to support forward planning
• Support the Head of FP&A with the day to day
• Ad-hoc projects

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Accounting/Finance degree and/or ACA qualified preferred
• At least 2 years post qualified with experience as a Finance Analyst for a multi-site international group
• High proficiency in financial modelling techniques
• Strong Excel skills
• Proficient in utilising reporting tools such as Jet Reports and Microsoft Power BI
• Strong presentation, reporting and communication skills
• Strong analytical and data gathering skills
• Comfortable to work in a dynamic environment with multiple projects running simultaneously and delivering tangible results within deadlines
• Good business acumen
