Fund Operations Supervisor - Contract
Job Description
An Investment Manager wish to recruit a Fund Operations Supervisor to working closely with the COO, Head of Operations and manage 2 team members
Overview
Provide support to the operation, development and implementation of the Fund business as a key member of the Operations Team
Work with the Head of Funds and Board Directors to assist in the development / acquisition of new funds and the optimisation (service standards / TER etc.) of existing funds.
Manage the Fund’s Service Providers, ensuring that their services are defined and overseen.
Ensure the correct operation of legal, control and risk frameworks with respect to Fund Operations
Provide support to operating model and other project work that impacts Funds operations and infrastructure
Needs to interact and communicate across the Operations team and Fund’s Service Providers (Administrators, Custodians, Platforms, etc.) - compiling requirements, prioritizing and initiating work and reporting status and issues.
Assist in the effective management and relationship between the Investment Manager (IM) and the Funds Boards to ensure smooth operation of the Funds
To review the current policies, procedures and processes and advise where possible enhancements can be made.
Provide regular status communication to the Head of Operations, Chief Operating Officer, Operation Manager
Experience Required
At least 5-7 years Fund industry experience.
Proven management and leadership experience
Good organisational and communication skills.
Strong service orientation - high standards with respect to accuracy and timeliness.
