Loan Operations Manager - VP
A leading overseas banking institution which to recruit a VP for the Loans Administration Team, main focus will be to oversee the day to day activities of the team, including the strategic planning and the development, direction, control and delivery of the day to day activities whilst understanding Bank systems and managing efficiencies within all tasks for both branch and subsidiary.
Monitoring and authorising bilateral loans, retail mortgage loans and syndication loans credit facility limits, system manager for loan modules.
Providing an excellent customer services and operational support to Front Office, Risk Management Department and Management ensuring all daily work is processed in a timely fashion.
Check legal and loan documents and approvals for new and existing facilities of bilateral loan, syndication loan and retail mortgage
Provide accurate and timely MI as and when required, Maintenance of loan parameter table, performs system upgrade testing and prepares business request
Monitor the reconciliation of account, fee and interest income and expenses accounts and made an adjustment if required
Check and authorise facilities set up, transactions of drawdowns, rollovers, repayments, rate fixing, and interest/fee calculation for syndication loans, bilateral loans, and retail mortgage loans
Check and release title deeds and maintain the safe keeping of security documents and ensure legal and security documents are in order;
Supervision responsibilities: Overseeing the processing of Bilateral, Syndication and Retail Loans.
Support the signing off of probations, all staff appraisals and provide clear and pragmatic solutions to people issues as they arise – ensuring there is good career development within the team
Authorised signatory of the bank
Very experienced within the Financial Services Industry & proven track record in similar department (Loans)
No less than 5-10 years knowledge of the syndication loan, bilateral loan, retail mortgage and cash management business
Good people management skills and ability to train and develop and motivate staff (15 people)
