An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Marketing & Communications Assistant.  The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate passionate about Marketing Communications and looking to excel in their marketing career. Excellent training provided would suit a Marketing Graduate or a experienced Marketing individual.

Duties will be varied and include

  • Communications
    • Write and proofread marketing copy for both online and print campaigns
    • Work closely with in-house or external creative agencies to design marketing materials such as brochures and adverts
    • Liaise with designers and printers and organise photo shoots
    • Arrange the effective distribution of marketing materials
    • Prepare a deliver promotional presentations, sales presentations
    • Prepare and deliver any collateral required within the team
    • Write and create marketing literature (brochures, press releases etc) to augment the company’s presence in the market
    • Communicate directly with clients and encourage trusting relationships
  • Brand Awareness
  • Create awareness of and develop the brand you're marketing
  • Source advertising opportunities and place adverts in the press or on the radio
  • Organise and attend events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions
  • Source and secure sponsorship
  • Input to and implementation of annual marketing plans and three-year marketing forecasts
  • Maintain and update customer databases
  • Conduct market research, for example using customer questionnaires and focus groups
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external
  • Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities
  • Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather important data (social media, web analytics, rankings etc.)
  • Run social media channels
  • Help to produce advertising, direct marketing and campaigns
  • Communicate with target audiences and build and develop customer relationships
  • Produce creative content, including videos and blog posts

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate  a natural enthusiasm  about Marketing communications and be  looking to excel in their marketing career.
  • Good knowledge of digital marketing techniques
  • Advanced writing skills or Writing experience, with a high standard of written English (spelling and grammar)  and a flair for writing.

  • Creative and logical thinker
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good planning and effective organisational skills
  • Intermediate/Advanced capabilities with Microsoft Office

Hybrid working. Please note you will be expected to work in the office 1 day  per week initially.
