Job Description

Our client is a  international bank situated in the heart of the city, boasting a legacy rooted in unparalleled financial services and a steadfast commitment to providing tailored banking solutions. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and detail-oriented Relationship Support Officer, who will play a pivotal role in assisting the Branch or Relationship Manager in robust client portfolio management within the Islamic Banking sector.

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. **Credit Proposal Processing:**Develop and prepare varied credit facility proposals.
- Ensure comprehensive analysis of balance sheets, income statements, and cash flows.
- Scrutinize all relevant documents, accounts, and payment histories.

2. **Relationship Facilitation & Service:**
- Implement a structured client engagement program as per RM/SRM directives to discern new business opportunities or service existing clientele.
- Possible client visits, with or without RM, and subsequent call report writing.
- Efficiently resolve client queries to avoid further escalations.

3. **Analysis/Documentation Support:**
- Ensure the validity and monitoring of accounts, ensuring accurate documentation of facilities and monitoring receipt of payments.
- Keep track of all account movements, business volumes, and controls, including managing overdue documents and payments.
- Facilitate regular updates to SRM on the performance of allocated accounts and propose renewals of limits.

4. **Resource Coordination:**
- Collaborate proactively with Branch Operations, Credit, and other functions to fulfil approved customer requirements.

**Candidates Will Require:**

- **Experience and Education:**
- Degree qualification or equivalent (preferred but not essential).
- Up to three years’ experience in Banking or a related sector (desirable but not crucial).
-Strong understanding and experience with credit ( essential)

- **Skills and Competencies:**
- **Numerate Skills:** Proficiency in dealing with numbers, data analysis, and creating reports.
- **Banking Knowledge:** Understanding of bank policy, products, and processes.
- **Behavioural Competencies:**
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Adherence to branch practices and governance.
- Ability to liaise with various departments and manage pressure effectively.
- Demonstrable ability to meet deadlines and possess strong interpersonal skills.
