Daniel Cohen

After graduating in Business and Marketing, Daniel began a long and successful career with one of the world's leading recruiters. He spent 17-years with the company, a period that saw him rise to the position of Business Banking Manager, where he was responsible for 15 consultants. Daniel decided to branch out on his own in 2010, when he founded MW Recruitment, with the aim of bringing innovative solutions to what was then a very challenging market.

Under his leadership the company has shown consistent growth in clients supplied and candidates placed, enabling him to expand the consultant team. He attributes this success to the strength of his colleagues, a consultative philosophy, and his ability to create beneficial business partnerships.

On a personal level, Daniel cites spending time with his family as his favourite pastime, especially on country walking holidays.

Simon Haslett

Simon's banking career has provided him with the perfect background for his role as MW's front office recruitment specialist.

His introduction to the world of finance came as a foreign exchange broker back in the 1990s. The time he spent on the trading floor not only gave him great insight into the markets, but also the people who worked on them. This experience proved invaluable when he moved into recruitment later that decade.

Initially, his work involved recruiting trading floor-based compliance officers for the Fixed Income and Equities markets, before widening his remit to include Equity Derivatives, Asset Management, Private Banking, Sales, Trading and Structuring for major international investment bank clients.

Simon joined MW Recruitment in 2019, continuing to work closely with his traditional Equities and Fixed Income banking clients, as well as helping to build out the Private Banking sector.
